Testimonials

"I ran/used the Ample Engineering wood processor on a few occasions this past year. I burn 4-5 cords of wood in an inside wood furnace, and this makes it so nice. The wood is easy to load into the stove since all pieces are split and of the same length. Also, now after a couple hours of cutting wood my back is not sore. The processor is easy to operate and makes cutting lengths of stumpage go extremely fast. The “universal” chainsaw option makes keeping chain sharpening/replacements easy and very quick. An overall very well thought out machine layout and functions."

"We burn wood and use a conventional wood splitter. When I saw Andy's machine operating, I was very impressed.

I especially like that no lifting was involved in getting the wood on the splitter. Often it takes both of us to lift just one large chunk up to the splitter. That is after the lengths would have been cut up on the ground. So we end up handling the chunks multiple times. This machine eliminates this.

Also, the splitter apparatus works very well on splitting the chunks. On our conventional splitter we often must lift and turn larger chunks to get them split. His splitter was adjustable for larger chunks. The chain saw mounted on the splitter was a great idea. No holding the heavy chain saw while cutting and needing to roll the log to cut all the way thru and getting the blade in the dirt. This machine definitely takes a lot of the hard physical work out of the process.

Anyone who is serious about putting up a lot of wood would save considerable time and effort by utilizing Andy's machine. Once you have your 8 foot lengths of wood the machine does the rest for you. It lifts the logs onto the splitter, cuts them into chunks and then splits it. This process goes twice as fast or more than with a conventional wood splitter."
